Wisconsin Leadership Institute

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Wisconsin Leadership Institute (WLI) was initiated by a recommendation of Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson’s Commission on the Study of Administrative Value and Efficiency (the SAVE Commission). The WLI was incorporated in 1995 with headquarters in the Leadership Studies Program at Ripon College. Its mission is “to encourage, connect, and support aspiring leaders.”

The WLI’s primary initiative, the Collaborative Leadership Network (CLN), was launched in 2000 in order to develop and disseminate educational materials about collaborative leadership for secondary and postsecondary students and teachers.
