[edit] Highway 31 Construction

Highway 31 is now mostly multi-lane highway from Four Mile Road in Racine to the state line. I know this for a fact because I've driven the length of WIS 31 many times. The section from WIS 11 to WIS 142 was rebuilt as a divided highway within the last decade; the section from WIS 50 to the state line was rebuilt in the 1990's, if memory serves.

The section from Four Mile to Six Mile that's under construction now is likely going to be widened like the section from WIS 38 to Four Mile was in the 1990's - multiple lanes with a "turning lane" in the middle. --jwhouk 11:52, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
