Wired (computer program)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Wired is a Free audio creation computer program running on the Linux operating system. It helps musicians to compose, record, edit and mix sounds. It handles live instruments (through sound card analog or midi inputs), virtual instruments and sound effects. It manages the most used plug-in types (LADSPA, DSSI). It is composed of racks, a sequencer and a mixer. Its graphical interface is designed to be user-friendly for amateurs whereas its abilities cover needs of a semi-professional public. Wired is still under development but has downloadable versions from its official site.[1]
