[edit] Merge

I think we should merge this article with WiFiMe. But which article should be merged into which? --unforgettableid | talk to me 04:26, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

WifiMe is an exploit in the Wireless Multiboot function, so I'd merge it into this article.

Also while I don't have a DS Lite to confirm this, reportedly, the Lite will not even run official demos using this method without having FlashMe installed. 65.95.140.254 21:52, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

I'd add WifiMe to Wireless Multiboot. Wireless Multiboot is what you are doing and WifiMe is just a tool to help do that. You wouldn't put MP3 in the LAME article would you?

WifiMe is an exploit in the DS Download play version of Super Mario 64 DS, not really in the firmware of the DS. The latest version of flashme completely supports the DS Lite.

WifiMe is a method which involves changing the start addresses of the two processors. It works on every game capable of being wmb'd.

"Wireless Multiboot is what you are doing and WifiMe is just a tool to help do that"

That statement is simply not true. They are two very different things. WMB is a way to download and run games to your DS. WifiMe uses WMB, but messes a little with the stuff it sends to start code from the GBA Slot. Although I do agree that they are similar enough to be merged.

Oppose WMB is a method of sending code to the DS. WiFiMe is a piece of code you send to the DS using WMB to run homebrew. This will be like merging road (WMB) with car (WiFiMe). WP 00:59, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

I completely agree. WifiMe is code which enables you to run games off of a GBA cart, whereas wireless multiboot is where the DS runs software which is sent to it. WifiMe is sent to it and is wirelessly multibooted, but the two are very different things.
