User talk:Wiploc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hey Wiploc. Are you by chance the same person who posts under that handle at IIDB? (I'm Occams_Razor there). I noticed your edits to atheism that were quickly reverted by another user—really not a surprise that I would have that article watchlisted, nor that your first edits here would be to atheism related articles if you're who I think you are:-p.

Anyway, welcome to Wikipedia. You'll fare much better here if you leave edit sumaries when you edit articles, especially to highly-charged and prominent articles such as atheism. Also, all articles have an associated talk page accessible by clicking "discussion" at the top of an article. Often changes to articles such as this are discussed there before being implemented, though we also have a convention that people should be bold when editing, but this interplays with our consensus guideline. Feel free to drop me a note on my talk page for any reason. Below is a welcome template containing many useful links for newcomers. Cheers.--Fuhghettaboutit 07:19, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Editing

Hi Wiploc. Thanks for improving the Atheism article. We certainly can use someone in reducing the verbiose in the article. If I may make one suggestion, try using the Show preview button a few times on the editing pages before committing to a change. I know I'm guilty of the same thing from time to time. Cheers.
