Winthrop-University Hospital, is a 591-bed hospital located in Mineola, New York, on Long Island. Founded in 1896, as Nassau Hospital, it is a teaching hospital of the State University of New York at Stony Brook's medical college.
Winthrop, a Level I trauma center, is affiliated with the NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System.
