Winged Pharoah is a novel by Joan Grant first published in 1937.
Attributed to a 'far memory' the story is narrated by Sekeeta who became Pharoah with her brother Neyah during the period of the First Dynasty of Ancient Egypt. Sekeeta's had daughter Tchekeea/Den fathered by Dio from 'Minoas' (Minoan Civilisation) and defended her kingdom from invasion from 'Zuma' (Sumer land of the forerunners of the Babylonians) at The 'Amphitheatre of Grain', according to the authors note, now the site of 'Tell el Amarna' . Sekeeta was buried as Meri-Nyet her priest name (possibly be Merneith) in Abidwa, the modern Abydos, Egypt.
Most of the story takes place in the city of 'Me'n-atetiss', Memphis, Egypt, Founded by Sekeeta's Great Great Uncle 'Meniss' (Menes)
