Wingates

Wingates is a small settlement located in the metropolitan borough of Bolton in England. It was part of the county of Lancashire before administrative boundary changes in 1974. It is situated on the outskirts of the town of Westhoughton, on the A6 road between Blackrod and Walkden. It is the home of Wingates Band, one of best-known brass bands in the United Kingdom.
