Windows Powertools is a set of tools for the Windows Operating System written in Windows batch language by Vivek Narayanan. It is freeware as well as open source software. Its current version is 1.3 .

Its main features are:

  • Clearing cache to speed up PCs
  • Pinging internet connection and preventing ISPs from disconnecting users and also marginally increasing connection speed.
  • Enabling users to define startup programs
  • Editing Registry
  • Clearing unwanted files in Boot sector
  • Defragmenting and error-checking of drives to make the user's pc 2 to 3x faster
  • Monitor Running tasks and enabling users to kill unwanted tasks.
  • Conversion of filesystems from FAT32 to NTFS
  • Compression of Hard Disk / Flash Drives to save space

Though this software does not have any website it can be found in major freeware download sites and it has been downloaded over 30000 times and has been conferred the "100% Clean" award from Softpedia.
