Windows Live Search Center

Windows Live Search Center (formerly known as Windows Live Search) is an upcoming desktop search program from Microsoft's Windows Live division. It will be integrated with Microsoft's existing Windows Desktop Search, Windows Live Search, and Sharepoint Portal Server 2007. It will feature it the new "flair" interface design seen in other Windows Live client applications such as Windows Live Messenger, and Windows Live Mail Desktop.

Windows Live Search Center will be a truly integrated search application. It will retrieve search results from many locations including the Windows Desktop Search index, Windows Live Search, and Sharepoint Portal Server 2007. It will be able to retrieve results from other locations as well by using OpenSearch RSS.

In December 2006, it has been reported that Windows Live Search Center (codenamed Casino or OneView) will be rebranded as Windows Search 4 and will not be part of Microsoft's Windows Live services.[1]
