Windeby (Danish: Vindeby) is a municipality in the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated approx. 2 km west of Eckernförde.

Windeby is part of the Amt ("collective municipality") Windeby, which consists of the following municipalities (population in 2005 between brackets):

  • Altenhof (302)

  • Gammelby (521)
  • Goosefeld (760)

  • Windeby (1.125)

The seat of the Amt is in Eckernförde.
