Windale, NSW, is a small suburb in the city of Lake Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia. It consists largely of Housing Commission homes owned by the Government of New South Wales . Windale has historically been known for its high rates of alcoholism, crime and unemployment.[1][2] Recently, there has been a decrease in crime.
