Wincey Willis

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Wincey Willis (born 8 November 1949) is a British broadcaster who found television success in the 1980s.

She was born Florence Winsome Dymmock, but dropped her first name and contracted the middle name to Wincey. When she married Malcolm Willis the names proved so harmonious that she continued to use the name Willis even after they divorced.

Wincey's first job as a radio presenter was working with Les Ross on a successful Saturday morning programme at Radio Tees. She became famous as a weather presenter on TV-am, before adjudicating on the game show Treasure Hunt. She is now a writer, public speaker and conservationist, and presents a weekly show on BBC Coventry & Warwickshire
