WinRoll is an open source freeware utility for Windows 2000 and Windows XP which allows the user to "roll up" windows into their title bars, in addition to other window management related features.

WinRoll 1.0 was first released on April 10, 2003. It was created, and is still maintained by Wil Palma. The most recent version, 2.0, was released on April 7, 2004. It is currently both an open source and freeware piece of software, and is compiled in assembly language.

WinRoll is designed to allow users to have many windows on the screen, while keeping them organized and manageable. The main feature of the program, and where its name derives from, is enabling the user to "roll" windows up into their title bars, much like in the Mac OS X operating system. In addition, it also allows users to minimize a window to the tray, and make a window appear translucent.
