[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Delayed_promise_helen.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Delayed_promise_helen.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags.

[edit] User page

It is felt that the article you created at Winsrev is not suitable for a Wikipedia article, which must have a notable subject and be verifiable. I have moved it to User:WinSrev, which is where users are free to write about themselves. You are at liberty to move it back into the (Main) namespace but bear in mind that if you do so, it is likely to be nominated for deletion.

Note, however, that the purpose of a user page is to enable active editors of Wikipedia to introduce themselves to other editors. Wikipedia is not a general hosting service, so your user page is not a personal homepage. Content unrelated to Wikipedia or its editing is likely to be removed.

Please see the user page guidelines, especially this section for more information.

I know it is an hard job promoting a new website but unfortunatley Wikipedia is not in the business of helping you. Someone will write you up when you become notable. -- RHaworth 04:40, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] MfD Nomination

I've nominated your user page for deletion under the Miscellany for deletion process, since you have made few or no edits outside of your user page since you created it, and the page is an obvious advertisement for your product. User pages are intended for the use of active Wikipedia editors to aid them in their work, not as a free webhost or promotional service.

We appreciate editor contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that your user page belongs here. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:WinSrev. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them. You are free to edit the content of the page during the discussion, but please do not remove the "Miscellany for Deletion" template (the box at the top). Doing so will not end the discussion. --Calton | Talk 00:41, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
