[edit] Spitfires/Bulldogs

Basically, the Spits were restarted in 1971. In 1973, they changed their name to the Bulldogs. In 1975, the city was granted an OHL club, so they changed the Bulldogs back to the traditional Spitfires and... well, there ya go. Funny though, the hockeydb doesn't even list the name change... I doubt it is anything more than a footnote in the team's history. DMighton 18:59, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

The Windsor Bulldogs name was also used by a Senior Hockey team in the 1950s, 60s and 70s. Flibirigit 22:14, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
Yes, it is a historical name. DMighton 00:46, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
