Wilson Valdéz

Wilson Antonio Valdéz (born May 20, 1978 in Nizao, Peravia, Dominican Republic) is a Major League Baseball shortstop currently playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He made his MLB debut with the Chicago White Sox in September 2004 after having also spent time in the Montreal Expos and Florida Marlins organizations. He played with the Seattle Mariners organization for the start of 2005, including with the Mariners MLB team. He was traded to the Padres in June 2005. He was signed by the Kansas City Royals on November 18, 2005.
