From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Wilson Casey (born in 1954 in Woodruff, South Carolina, United States) earned two Guinness World Records records for a thirty-four hour broadcast on radio station WKDY-AM on January 10, 1999 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. One record was for the longest trivia broadcast. The other record was for the longest radio broadcast by an individual.

His weekly Bible Trivia column (King Weekly Features Service) appears in over 100 newspapers around the country, and his General Trivia column appears in several others.

Casey hosted the "Trivia Fun" radio program on WKDY radio for several years in the late 1990's and early 2000's. The program was consistantly the top rated program in the Spartanburg market during the 12pm-1pm "noon hour," fielding thousands of calls every day.

Casey has appeared on the national TV game show, "The Weakest Link", and in a movie documentary as one of the world's most unique Guinness Record holders (Chump-Change Productions).

The State of South Carolina General Assembly has honored Casey with a Concurrent Resolution. He is also listed as a National Figure from upstate South Carolina.
