Willy Burkhard

Willy Burkhard (1900 - 1955) was a Swiss composer.

He studied with Sigfrid Karg-Elert, and was strongly influenced by the music of Paul Hindemith. He was born near Biel, and taught at the Zurich Conservatory from 1942 until his death.
