Willis Bouchey was an American character actor who appeared in almost 150 films and television shows. He is perhaps best known for his appearances in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, The Big Heat, No Name on the Bullet, and Suddenly. He also made uncredited appearances in From Here to Eternity, How the West Was Won, Them!, and A Star is Born.
Throughout his career, which had its main activity between 1951 and 1971 before a quieter few years before his death in 1977, he appeared in many of John Ford and James Stewart's films. In The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance he delivered the memorable line 'nothing's too good for the man who shot Liberty Valance.'
