Williamstown, County Galway

Williamstown is a small town located in northeast of County Galway, Ireland. The town overlooks an area known as "Forty - Acres", across a muddy peat bog. The town is also a stopping place for a Bus Éireann service to Galway.

Its population of about 300 people at the last census but owing to a building boom in the 00s is forecast to have exploded in the current census which took place in April 2006.
