Williams FJ33

The Williams International FJ33 is a family of turbofan jet engines intended for use in very light jet aircraft. Sources suggest that the FJ33 is a scaled-down version of the FJ44 engine.
Engine configuration is believed to be a single stage fan, with booster stage/s, driven by a 2 stage LP turbine, supercharging a centrifugal HP compressor, driven by a single stage HP turbine. An annular combustor is featured.
The FJ33 has a dry weight of less than 300 lb, overall diameter of 21.05in, 47.9in overall length, and produces between 1000 and 1800 lbf static thrust. Specific fuel consumption at 1200 lbf thrust (SLS, ISA) is understood to be 0.486 lb/h/lbf.

The -1, -2 , -3 and -4-A11 are believed to be essentially derated versions of the -4. Presumably the -17M and -18M are throttle pushed versions of the -4, but without any flat-rating to a hot day.

- Excel Sport Jet: single FJ33-4 (stopped following accident)
- Maverick LEADER Jet: twin FJ33-4-A11 1100 lbf static thrust (not certified)
- Spectrum Aero Model 33: 2× Williams FJ33-4 (stopped following accident)
