William Van Pelt

William Kaiser Van Pelt (1905–1996) was a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from 1951-1965, serving Wisconsin's 6th District. He was defeated for re-election in 1964 after serving seven terms. He was born in Glenbeulah, Wisconsin on March 10, 1905 and died on June 2, 1996. He moved to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin as a youth and resided there following his years in the United States Congress until his death.
