William McCoy (born approximately 1763, died April 20, 1798) was a Scottish sailor and a mutineer onboard the HMAV Bounty. He had just one consort, Teio, and fathered two children Daniel, and Catherine. His life came to a tragic end after liqour was introduced to Pitcairn Island he became a drunk along with Matthew Quintal and finally ended his life by jumping off a cliff.
