[edit] Perspective
Since joining Classical and Near Eastern Studies Professor Malandara has been interested in teaching courses, beyond Sanskrit, which fit into the department's curricular objectives. Just as his research takes a look westward from Iran, he has developed courses which deal with cultural and ideological contacts between West and East in the ancient world.
