William Mackenzie, 1st Baron Amulree

William Warrender Mackenzie, 1st Baron Amulree PC (1860–1942) was a British Labour, later National Labour, politician who served as Secretary of State for Air under Ramsay MacDonald. He was one of the few Labour politicians to follow MacDonald into the National Government, where he retained his post for the first two months of the government's life. He was made a Privy Counsellor in 1930.
Lord Amulree also chaired the Newfoundland Royal Commission, which prepared a report on the future of Newfoundland as a dominion in the British Commonwealth.
