William Loughridge

William Loughridge (July 11, 1827 – September 26, 1889) was a United States Congressman from Iowa.
He was born in Youngstown, Ohio. He originally practiced law in Ohio and moved to Iowa in 1852. From 1857 to 1860 he served in the Iowa State Senate and was a judge in Iowa's sixth judicial circuit from 1861 to 1867. He was initially elected to the United States Congress in 1867 and served until 1871; in 1873 he was elected again and served a single term.
He died near Reading, Pennsylvania and is buried in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
