William Frederick Horry

- William Frederick Horry was the first person to be hung by the Victorian Hangman William Marwood,[1] and the first to fall using the long drop.[2] Hanged at Lincoln Castle, Lincoln on 1 April 1872, aged 28,[3] for the murder of his Wife, Jane Horry.[4]
