William Doe

The Australian born medical educator Professor William Doe is Dean of Medicine at the University of Birmingham, a Non-Executive Director at the Strategic Health Authority and a Governor of the University of Worcester.

He was educated at Newington College and graduated in medicine from the University of Sydney in 1965 before training as a clinical academic at Hammersmith Hospital and the Scripps Research Institute in California. Before his appointment to Birmingham he held chairs of medicine at Sydney University and the Australian National University.
