William Cecil, 7th Marquess of Exeter

William Martin Alleyne Cecil, 7th Marquess of Exeter (27 April 190912 January 1988), known until 1981 as Lord William Cecil, was an Anglo-Canadian peer.

Exeter was the second son of William Cecil, 5th Marquess of Exeter. He was a prominent Canadian cattleman.

He married firstly, Edith Csanady de Telegd, on 17 January 1934. They had one child:

He married secondly, Lillian Johnson, on 3 September 1954. They had two children:

In 1981 he succeeded his elder brother in the marquessate. He died in january 1988, aged 78, and was succeeded in his titles by his only son Michael.
