William Anderson (Bishop)

William Louie Anderson (February 11, 1892 - March 5, 1972) was Bishop of the Church of England See of Salisbury from 1949 to 1963.
Before becoming a priest, he was a member of the British armed forces during The Great War, where he had the unusual distinction of serving consecutively in the Army, the Royal Navy and the RAF. He won the Distinguished Service Cross.
