Will Roberts is a fictional character on the NBC soap opera Days Of Our Lives. He is the son of Sami Brady and Lucas Roberts. The character was played by Shawn and Taylor Carpenter in 1995-2002, Darien Weiss in 2002-2003, and Christopher Gerse since 2003.
Will Roberts is the son of Sami Brady and Lucas Roberts. Will was originally believed to be the son of Lucas's half-brother Austin Reed. Over the past decade Will has been involved in various custody disputes between his parents. He is frequently hurt by the schemes of his mother and her rival Kate Roberts who is Lucas's mother and Will's grandmother.
It was believed that Will was kidnapped by the gloved handed character but during the television broadcast of Sami and Lucas' appeal to safely return him he walked into the apartment not realizing anything was wrong. It turned out that he had run away from home, embarrassed that his mother had jilted Austin at the altar and worried that his peers would make fun of him at school. He went to Chicago and took in a couple of baseball games but returned when he ran out of food money.
Will along with Lucas moved into Kate's apartment after it was revealed that Sami had blackmailed Lexie Carver into telling Carrie Brady that any children she had with Austin would have problems due to a genetic marker. They have since decided that they want to try to be a family, with Lucas being a friend to Sami. Lucas and Carrie's marriage eventually broke up, and Carrie and Austin wed quickly and left town.
