Will Kimbrough, born in Mobile, Alabama in 1964 is an American Singer-Songwriter, musician and producer.

Nashville based Kimbrough is often classed as simply country music — but his range encompasses much more than that — rock, folk, blues,alt-country — a touch of soul, a little gospel — or as the promotions for the Daddy album promised — swamp blues!

Awarded Instrumentalist of the Year at the Americana Music Awards in Nashville, [1] Sept '04 — Will is highly acclaimed as not only a chillingly good guitarist — but as a skilled wordsmith — the author of a whole host of poignant and powerful songs.

Will cut his teeth with Will & the Bushmen — a popular college band in the eighties they produced a handful of albums and singles — and made it to MTV.

He then went on to form the Bis-quits with long-time buddy Tommy Womack. The Bis-quits produced a self titled album (release on John Prine’s Oh-Boy label ) that combine a post-punk feel with chunky rock blues. Kimbrough mixes with the elite of the county and folk music sets — playing sideman along side the likes of Jimmy Buffett, Rodney Crowell, Todd Snider and Kate Campbell.

On top of this Kimbrough produces and plays on albums by a multitude of artists — such as Adrienne Young, Rodney Crowell, Todd Snider, Kate Campbell, Kim Richey, Garrison Starr, Matthew Ryan, and Josh Rouse.

Will teamed up with Tommy Womack in 2005 to create the five piece band Daddy — along side John Deaderick, Paul Griffith and Dave Jacques — they recorded a live album in Frankfort, Kentucky — Daddy at the Women’s Club — a venue the band are now banned from...

Will has released four solo albums to date — This, Home Away, Godsend and the controversial 2006 Americanitis.
