Wildlife Institute of India

Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Government of India is an internationally renowned premiere institution in India run by the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education which trains wildlife managers and wildlife researchers. Trained personnel from WII have contributed immensely in studying and protecting the Wildlife of India. WII has popularized wildlife studies and careers in India.
The institute is based in Dehradun India.It is located in Chandrabani, which is close to the southern forests of Dehradun.
The Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education also runs the Forest Research Institute, The Indian Forest Service and the Indian Institute of Forest Management.
