Wildfire is a 60-minute American drama television series that airs Monday nights at 8pm on ABC Family. The show centers on a teenage girl named Kris Furillo who, after serving time in a juvenile detention center, works as a jockey on the fictional Raintree Farm. The show premiered June 20, 2005, and its second season began January 2, 2006. The third season premiered on January 1, 2007. The theme song is titled "Morning Light" sung by Truman, and while the program takes place in the town of Fremont, California (not based on the real-life San Francisco Bay Area city of Fremont), it is actually filmed in the area of Rio Rancho and Corrales New Mexico.

- Kristine "Kris" Furillo (Genevieve Cortese)
- A racehorse jockey who got out of jail after serving time for grand theft auto. Horse trainer Pablo Betart offers her a place at Raintree Farms after noticing her solid work with the horses at Camp LaGrange correctional facility.
- Matt Ritter (Micah Alberti)
- The son of Jean, Todd's older brother, and the ex-boyfriend of both Dani Davis and Gillian Parsons. He is now co-owner of Raintree Farm along with his mother.
- Kenneth Bradford Davis, Jr. (Ryan Sypek)
- Most commonly referred to as "Junior," he is a former night club owner and used to date Kris.
- Danielle "Dani" Davis (Nicole Tubiola)
- Daughter of Ken Davis, younger sister of Junior. She now co-owns Davis Farms with her father after Junior sold his share in the ranch to Gillian who unknowingly resold them to Dani's father. She was in a relationship with bull-rider R.J. Blake, until he was killed while competing in the ring.
- Pablo Betart (Greg Serano)
- A former jailbird himself and a former Raintree Farms employee, Pablo was the one who brought Kris to Raintree and discovered her talent for horses and riding. He is co-owner of Wildifre, and is now a trainer at Davis Farms.
- Jean Ritter (Nana Visitor)
- The owner of Raintree farm, co-owner of Wildfire with Pablo, and Kris's mentor. Jean is also Matt and Todd's mother, and the ex-girlfriend of Charlie Hewitt.
- Todd Ritter (Andrew Hoeft)
- The quirky, academic-oriented son of Jean and Matt's younger brother. He is in high school and lives on Raintree Farm.
- Kenneth Bradford Davis, Sr. (James Read)
- The father of Dani and Junior. He worked his way up in the racing business and made his ranch one of the most powerful in the country with a huge cash flow. He recently was indicted on six counts of fraud and lost control of the farm to Dani. He also recently experienced a heart attack.
- Gillian Parsons (Charlotte Salt)
- Matt's former girlfriend and the previous co-owner of Davis Farms. She had a previous relationship with Kris' ex, Kerry Connelly, before he and Kris started dating.
