Hello and Welcome! I hope you like the place. --mav
From league:
- In Lower Middle Earth, a league is approximately 3 furlongs, or only a knot short of a hectare
The furlong is a unit of length, whereas the hectare is a unit of area, so something here is not right. Also, please link and explain "Lower Middle Earth" -- Egil 06:46 Mar 28, 2003 (UTC)
Hi, the guy who wrote Persuasion Technology is affectionly known as "24" and has been banned from this site for many months now; at one point he threatened one person's life. He keeps posting his rambling diatribes all over the place though, usually under an IP number of 142.*. You can find a sample of his work at user:24. Cheers, AxelBoldt 18:41 Apr 15, 2003 (UTC)
On League I wikilinked Lower Middle Earth, only to find it has no article. Should this redirect to Middle-earth? There seems to be no mention of any Lower Middle Earth there. Could you please do whatever is approprate so that those reading the article on League will no longer find the reference to "Lowere Middle Earth" unexplained and mysterious? Thanks. -- Infrogmation 06:01 12 Jul 2003 (UTC)
[edit] Shetland Sheepdog photo
Hope you check in again; sorry you haven't been around.
Hi. Last year, you contributed this photo of your shelties. We're trying to clear up licensing and copyright for all photos that we use in articles. We need to know whether it's in the public domain or licensed under the same GFDL that the Wikipedia text is. If you can edit that page or let me know directly, I'd be delighted. Thanks!Elf | Talk 23:34, 20 Aug 2004 (UTC)
