William Ibbs is a professor of civil engineering at the University of California at Berkeley, specializing in Construction & Project Management. He has conducted extensive research and received numerous awards for his work in labor productivity, project scheduling, construction changes, and project management's value.
He is also president of his own consulting firm, [The Ibbs Consulting Group Inc.] That firm has provided consulting services to such large, troubled construction projects as Boston's Big Dig, the San Francisco Hetch Hetchy Water System Improvement Project, and the Los Angeles MTA Pasadena Blue Line project.
Dr. Ibbs received a BSCE and MSCE from Carnegie Mellon University and a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley.
