[edit] In Need of Revision

This article could use some help. First of all, the quotes need some sort of citation. Also I can't make any sense out of the statement that he "won over a well-funded and party endorsed candidate" in the May 2006 Primary. The purpose of a primary is to endorse a candidate, so how was O'Neill's opponent already endorsed by the party? Anyway, the article's a good start, and I'm sure we can improve it.
