[edit] Merge
an article about the incident was already created. Storm05 13:54, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- I think merge discussions usually happen in the target's talk page: Talk:2006 Virginia Tech lockdown ~a (user • talk • contribs) 15:07, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- William Morva is the more natural name for the article and it predates the incident article. BigDT 15:28, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] New Merge discussion
Previous merge discussion was here: Talk:2006 Virginia Tech lockdown#Merge and was in the opposite direction
I propose redirecting 2006 Virginia Tech lockdown to William Morva. I've copied some text from the 2006 Virginia Tech lockdown#Aftermath to William Morva. ~a (user • talk • contribs) 17:58, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Citation error
There's currently two citations ("a" and "b") listed under each reference (and six for reference 2). There should only be one for each, (save for reference 2, which should have three). Can anyone figure out what's causing this? Was a bracket sign missed somewhere? I tried reverting the page a bit back, but I didn't solve the issue.Paulcleveland 19:57, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
- I don't see the problem you describe. I only see one citation for each reference: (it's listed as "^" because there is only one). For reference two, I see four citations: (it's listed as "^", "a", "b", and "c" because there are four citaitons). Do you still see the problem you describe, or has it been fixed (was the problem temporary)? ~a (user • talk • contribs) 20:58, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
- It must be some strange glitch with my work computer. I see "^ a b" next to all references, and "^ a b c d e f" next to reference two. I'll check my home computer later.Paulcleveland 21:33, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
