Why is Levi's Party affiliation left off his title as state central committeeman for the First Congressional District of Illinois from 1930 to 1932? But then describes him as a Democratic Party committeeman after 1939?

It's from the Congressional Bioguide information, which gives the party only for the latter position, not the former.[1] Postdlf 15:32, 29 July 2005 (UTC)
He was a Republican. He did not switch to the Democrats until the late 1930s.
