George Beech cites, among other sources, "Les fondations monastiques de Robert Guiscard duc de Pouille et de Calabre" by L.R. Menanger. Beech's paper, Richard of Salerno, was published as part of the twenty-fifth volume of Anglo-Norman Studies (Boydell & Brewer).
