Wikipedia talk:WikiProject New York State routes/Routebox legend

Isn't this is just a duplicate of Template:Routebox_legend which is global, rather than state specific? I think we should delete it.--Censorwolf 13:25, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

Not a dupilicate, just an instance of the template. I was scolded for just linking it to what seemed to be a fairly global one to me, so therefore I put the current one in its own page for NY. I don't really care global or not, I was just re-formulating my past change (linking to the Interstate one) into a format that did not conflict. But it seems you are changing your mind now and want a global one. I really don't care which is linked. --Chris 19:29, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
NO, I DID like the idea of a global one which is why I created Template:Routebox_legend, but I objected to using the interstate one because it didn't use the colors that were used in states. It would be better if ALL the road articles used the same routebox and legend, but that's a-ways off, if ever. How about we link as you prefer, but to the global one Template:Routebox_legend I created ? It's a step in the direction of using globals for routeboxes.
Looks like the junction lists are still under debate in CA, and the legend is off of it last I looked. --Censorwolf 17:42, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
    • I don't care either way. I just want to know how to make the color for "unconstructed" roads turn up in routeboxes. --DanTD 16:56, 28 May 2006 (EST)
