[edit] Proposed rules

[edit] Votes

  • Most Cummulative votes wins. Not just the weekly total.
  • I propose 4 votes for an article to stay.
  • No opposing votes. If it's not worthy, don't vote for it.
  • 1 registered user can only vote once for one paticular article. However, a register user can vote for as many articles as he/she wants. (Does this make sense to everyone. I'm not sure if I worded it right.)

[edit] Nominations

  • Any baseball related (MLB or not) is allowed to be nominated.
  • Repeat nominations are not allowed for 1 month.
  • Do not put any red links as nominated article. However, if an article already created has too many red links, then that could be a reason. Kingjeff 03:33, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tiebreaking

  • First tiebreaker will go to articles listed as stubs.
  • and the second tiebreaker will go to the first article nominated.

[edit] Discussion on entire rules

I'm not real familiar with WP:AID but these rules sound pretty similar, right? Except AID says each article needs four votes per week to stay on. Like I said, I'm not real clear on what that means so please educate me if you want. —Wknight94 (talk) 03:52, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

I agree for the rules except for the 4 votes thing for now as this is just getting started. Three votes are ok for now. Thanks Jaranda wat's sup 01:56, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Does everyone agree with the tiebreaking procedure? Kingjeff 02:38, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Yea Jaranda wat's sup 02:38, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Sounds good. —Wknight94 (talk) 10:37, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, the tiebreaking procedure is fine. Glad to see this is finally being implemented. Just out of curiosity, did this come as a result of my suggestion this ? --Nishkid64 21:42, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

Do you mean the entire article improvement drive or the tiebreaking rule? Kingjeff 21:44, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

I mean the entire AID. --Nishkid64 00:29, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

I guess so. Kingjeff 00:30, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

Cool. =) --Nishkid64 00:35, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding to-do template

We're supposed to add that to all AID nominations? Even if they aren't successful? --Nishkid64 00:50, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Userbox for WP:BBAID partcipants

Hey guys.

I made a userbox for participants in WP:BBAID.

Here it is:

This user participates in the Baseball Article Improvement Drive.

{{User:Nishkid64/Userboxes/BBAID}}

Tell me what you guys think.

Thanks!

Very nice but, if you're good with PhotoShop (unlike me), you could make the red ball a baseball!  :) —Wknight94 (talk) 19:34, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
I suck at PhotoShop as well. I just tried, but I failed miserably. :-P --Nishkid64 23:59, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Updating

When updating don't forget you add only 3 to the votes needed and don't forget to add the 7 days it needs. Kingjeff 19:10, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

Sorry about that! I went to doublecheck it to make sure it wasn't 4, but I guess I misread. =( --Nishkid64 23:59, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

New York Yankees won this week, but I'm bad in creating those templates that says that it won Jaranda wat's sup 23:54, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

We can just roughly base our template off of WP:AID's template.

Here is what I made:

Tell me how it looks. For now, I'll add it to the WP:BBAID page, but feel free to edit the template if those colors are not suitable for your eyes. (I got problems with colors, probably since I'm red-green colorblind) --Nishkid64 20:38, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
