A wikilogism is a form of neologism, usually originating on a wiki project page. They always contain the prefix "wiki" or "wiki-", or (less frequently) insert it as an infix or as a suffix.
[edit] Wikilogism in Wikipedia
On Wikipedia, wikilogism is treated just like any other form of neologism, and is generally avoided by veteran wikipedians as it is often unencyclopedic and cliché. However, in some cases it is tolerated, for example,
Wikipedia itself is a wikilogism. The reasons for tolerating neologism in these cases are usually when it is an existing subject (such as Wikimedia Foundation), wiki technical term (such as wikilink), or useful in communicating wiki-specific ideas (such as wikicrime).
In most cases, however, a wikilogism-titled article is put up for deletion or redirected to a similar article. Usually this is because it has no new information of its own, or is not integrated enough into the Wikipedian vernacular.
