The outreach department of the Virginia WikiProject is a centralized work are for project recruitment and member interaction efforts. The major programs currently underway are a monthly project newsletter and a welcoming message for new members of the project; further ideas are always welcome, of course!

The Virginia WikiProject Newsletter Volume I, no. 2 - October 2006
Project News since last newsletter! Our Portal:Virginia is coming along nicely... We need help fleshing out the Attractions section! We also need nominations for the main article... Daniel Boone was passed as a Featured Article on Sept 26, Stephen Trigg on Oct 8 and John W. Johnston on Oct 18. New articles have been created!
