First, an important note for everyone to remember: A few Wikipedians have gotten together to make some suggestions about how we might organize data in articles about vikings. These are only suggestions, things to give you focus and to get you going, and you shouldn't feel obligated in the least to follow them. But if you don't know what to write or where to begin, following the below guidelines may be helpful. Mainly, we just want you to write articles!

WikiProject Vikings is an attempt to organize Wikipedians efforts towards unified form of articles connected to vikings (not to be confused with Scandinavians, ). This page contains the agreed suggestions. For discussion use Talk:Viking page or subpages below.

Note: Since all the ditwars and discussions it would be wise to put extra emphasis on the recomendation on Wikipedia:WikiProject History: Verifiability is an important tool to achieve accuracy, so it is strongly encourage to check facts.

This WikiProject aims primarily to organize articles concerning vikings, as well as clearifying various misunderstanding about this term, and its use in whatever language.

  • Viking Age. Topic for editwars, and discussions.
  • Norsemen. (Presently redirected to Viking)
  • Northmen. (Presently dominated by abstract Tolkien characters)
