On the 7th September 2006 WikiProject Underground launched on Wikipedia. Unlike the founders former project, this project was completely original. It recieved some critism but other than that reviews were very positive and a member joined the next day. Since then the project has gained 7 more members and new members are in need.

[edit] Down the Portal

On the 12th September 2006, Portal:Tube launched. It also has recieved great comments. Including editors from Portal Trains. On the 14th September, after great reviews it deserved a makeover to show editors what they expected from editors. It recieved a blue background and tube access bar.

LOL our project paper launched on the 26th September. So far it has one (this) edition. It is set to become a familiar sight on all WikiProjects.

Our first inovative set of logos was complete today (27th September) by adding our 3 new portal logos. Each has a different background colour - Grey-blue for our project pages, blue for the portal and whie for other pages. As well as these we have:

Slogan &
Stub

These will be improved and added to over the next few years, they feature the Paddington typeface.

Our tenth member joined on the 3rd October 2006. Proving that this project was worthwhile. We have made a lot of changes to our articles and have got a wonderfull portal, templates and logos.
