Requests: To request a map, please post below. Your request will be then handled by a member of the maps task force. To submit a request, please follow these instructions for the quickest processing time:
- Add a new section by clicking "Request a map" on the right.
- Leave the "subject/headline" field blank.
- You will find a template waiting to be substed, with some parameters:
- subject: Enter the name of the road for which a map is desired, without any wikilinks. (Example: For a request for New York State Route 31, the title would be entered as "New York State Route 31" (no quotes either!).)
- message: Please briefly describe your request (basically what road the map is for and any special instructions if required). All further comments regarding this request will be placed in that section.
- You do not need to sign your name since the template already has the four tildes.
- Save the page.
Your cooperation in following the above instructions is greatly appreciated.
Maps task force members: To accept a request, please sign up for it by typing *'''Accepted''' --~~~~
in the blank line located between the section header and the beginning of the request paragraph.
[edit] Taconic State Parkway
Trying hard to document what is probably my favorite road, a map would be greatly appreciated Dagorlad 03:58, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Lactose intolerance
We need an updated map. The old map was drawn when we had far less data than we do now. I also have a reference in the reference list which shows a map from some slides from a Professor at University of Alabama that you can compare your map with. Thanks.--Filll 02:34, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
- This is the request page for the Maps task force of the U.S. Roads WikiProject. I think you may be looking for Wikipedia:WikiProject Maps; they should be able to help you with more general-purpose mapping requests. Powers T 16:50, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pennsylvania Route 611
I fixed up this article and a map would make the article perfect. This is a very important road that connects Philadelphia and The Poconos so i would really appriciated if a map was created for this road. -- PHWY 13:41, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Interstate 290 (Illinois)
Eisenhower Expressway in Chicago, very high volume. No shields, SVG, etc. etc. —Rob (talk) 18:03, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Chicago interstates.png
This is a good map, it just doesn't the follow the recently established standards. If it can be reassigned colors, it would be an ideal map (and what I'm looking for when I request all the 3di maps, especially the overview map). —Rob (talk) 03:00, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] U.S. Route 159
No special instructions, very short road ObtuseAngle 02:45, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] New Jersey Route 32
The article recently had Image:32 for wiki copy.jpg added. This map is accurate and should be used as a basis, but is non-standard and low quality. NORTH talk 06:38, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Schuylkill Expressway
It would be nice to have a map of the Schuylkill Expressway to add to the article. No shields would be nice, to keep it consistent with the maps of Interstate 76 and Interstate 476. Krimpet (talk/review) 21:06, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania
It would be nice to have a map of I-95 in PA to go along with this article, a GA candidate. No shields please, thank you! Krimpet (talk/review) 00:18, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
