When referencing the video games of the Zelda series within an article that is concerned wholly with a Zelda game or topic, please use the short versions of the video game names instead of their full article names, i.e., "The Adventure of Link" instead of "Zelda II: The Adventure of Link", "Majora's Mask" instead of "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask", wherever applicable. It may or may not be necessary (due to redirects) to pipe links to these video game articles in order to accord with this suggestion.

Games: All video games, released or otherwise, should have in their articles an infobox on the right side, and the name of the game should appear in italics throughout (Cf. Pokémon). An infobox for The Legend of Zelda series has been proposed as {{Infobox Zelda game}}, one that possibly includes timeline information, but has yet to be created. {{Infobox CVG}} is in current use on these relevant article pages.

Characters: Any major character whose importance to a particular game or the whole series obligates their own article page should have an infobox that lists the games they were in, possible age, phyysical characteristics, etc. This infobox is yet to be created and implemented, but is proposed as {{Infobox Zelda character}}.
