This page is for discussion of proposals for Wikipedia:WikiProject Textile Arts.

There is an article for gauge (knitting) but I know at least that crochet also has gauge requirements with it as well. Do other texile arts have gauge associated with them? If so, could we make just one page about all of them? --Alizera

[edit] Knots as a related project

I've added WP:TA as a related project at WikiProject Knots and wanted to propose that it be added to your related projects section. Knotting forms the basis for several textiles including Macramé and Tatting, and at least a few simple knots must be learned for joining lengths of yarn and tying off finished ends in knitting, sewing, etc. Thanks. --Dfred 14:16, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
